ततो देवा विधिं गत्वा वचनं चेदमब्रुवन् । अन्धकेनैव चास्माकं हृतं राज्यं सुखं मखः
tato devā vidhiṃ gatvā vacanaṃ cedamabruvan | andhakenaiva cāsmākaṃ hṛtaṃ rājyaṃ sukhaṃ makhaḥ
तेव्हा देव विधी (ब्रह्मा) यांच्याकडे जाऊन म्हणाले— “अंधकानेच आमचे राज्य, सुख आणि यज्ञकर्म हिरावून घेतले आहे।”
