Concept: Divine events unfold in precise sacred time (tithi–nakṣatra yoga); human distress at such moments becomes spiritually consequential when met with restraint and remembrance.

Application: Notice ‘twilight moments’—daily sandhyā—use them for japa or prayer; align personal hardship with remembrance rather than impulsive relief-seeking.

FAQs

It specifies a conjunction of the lunar date Aṣṭamī (eighth tithi) with the Rohiṇī nakṣatra, marking that day as the birthday.

The verse situates the event at the Yamunā’s bank, highlighting the sacred geography associated with Kṛṣṇa-centered Vaiṣṇava tradition.

The imagery underscores human hardship and liminality (twilight) surrounding a divine advent, a common Purāṇic motif that heightens the sense of sacred significance and compassion.
