एवं तयोस्तु वृत्तांतं पुण्याचारसमन्वितम् । सुव्रतस्य प्रवक्ष्यामि व्रतचर्यां द्विजोत्तमाः

evaṃ tayostu vṛttāṃtaṃ puṇyācārasamanvitam | suvratasya pravakṣyāmi vratacaryāṃ dvijottamāḥ

अशा रीतीने त्या दोघांचा पुण्याचारयुक्त वृत्तांत सांगून, हे द्विजोत्तमांनो, आता ‘सुव्रत’ या व्रताची व्रतचर्या व विधी मी सांगतो।
