FAQs

It highlights that among divine women, beauty of form (rūpa) and excellence of character (guṇa-śīla) can be seen together, implying an ideal where outward grace is accompanied by inner virtue.

By pairing rūpa (appearance) with guṇa-śīla (virtue and conduct), it implicitly teaches that true excellence is not merely aesthetic but grounded in moral qualities and disciplined behavior.

“Tāta” is an affectionate address meaning “dear one/child.” Without the surrounding verses, the specific addressee cannot be identified, but it indicates a speaker addressing someone with familiarity or paternal warmth.
