अवनेजनपूर्वं तु नामगोत्रेण मानवः गन्धधूपादिकं दद्यात् कृत्वा प्रत्यवनेजनम् //

Transliteration

avanejanapūrvaṃ tu nāmagotreṇa mānavaḥ gandhadhūpādikaṃ dadyāt kṛtvā pratyavanejanam //

Translation

प्रथम अवनेजन (धोवन) करून, नाम-गोत्र उच्चारत गंध, धूप इत्यादी अर्पण करावे; नंतर प्रत्यवनेजन करून शुद्धी पूर्ण करावी.
