निधाय दर्भान्विधिवद् दक्षिणाग्रान् प्रयत्नतः सर्ववर्णेन चान्नेन पिण्डांस्तु पितृयज्ञवत् //

Transliteration

nidhāya darbhānvidhivad dakṣiṇāgrān prayatnataḥ sarvavarṇena cānnena piṇḍāṃstu pitṛyajñavat //

Translation

विधीनुसार दक्षिणाग्र कुश प्रयत्नाने ठेवून, सर्व प्रकारच्या अन्नापासून पिंड पितृयज्ञाप्रमाणे यत्नपूर्वक तयार करून अर्पण करावेत.
