FAQs

This verse does not address Pralaya; it focuses on karmic causality—how an offence (apacāra) alters the timing and channel through which results (phala) are received.

It reinforces ethical restraint and right conduct: misconduct can obstruct immediate benefits and shift outcomes to later generations, a warning relevant to householders maintaining harmony and rulers safeguarding dharma to protect lineage and prosperity.

No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is stated here; the verse is a moral-prophetic statement about offence and the deferred fruition of results through descendants.
