स गतासुः पपातोर्व्यां देवीशूलाग्रविक्षतः ।
चालयन् सकलां पृथ्वीं साब्धिद्वीपां स पर्वताम् ॥
sa gatāsuḥ papātorvyāṃ devī-śūlāgra-vikṣataḥ /
cālayan sakalāṃ pṛthvīṃ sābdhidvīpāṃ sa-parvatām
देवीच्या शूलाच्या टोकाने विद्ध होऊन तो निर्जीव होऊन भूमीवर कोसळला; त्याच्या पडण्याने समुद्र, द्वीप व पर्वतांसह संपूर्ण जग हादरले।
