इत्याज्ञाप्यासुरपतिः शुम्भो भैरवशासनः । निर्जगाम महासैन्यसहस्रैर्बहुभिर्वृतः ॥
ity ājñāpyāsurapatiḥ śumbho bhairavaśāsanaḥ / nirjagāma mahāsainyasahasrair bahubhir vṛtaḥ
अशी आज्ञा देऊन, असुरांचा अधिपती, घोर शासन करणारा शुम्भ, अनेक सहस्र महा-सेनांनी वेढलेला निघाला।
