Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
माहेश्वरी त्रिशूलेन तथा चक्रेण वैष्णवी ।
दैत्याञ्जघान कौमारी तथा शक्त्यातिकोपना ॥
māheśvarī triśūlena tathā cakreṇa vaiṣṇavī /
daityāñ jaghāna kaumārī tathā śaktyātikopanā //
माहेश्वरीने त्रिशूलाने संहार केला आणि वैष्णवीने चक्राने. कौमारी अत्यंत क्रुद्ध होऊन शक्तीने दैत्यांनाही पाडीत होती।
