शातनं तेजसो मे 'द्य क्रियतामिति भास्करः ।
तञ्चाह विश्वकर्माणं संज्ञायाः पितरं द्विज ॥
śātanaṃ tejaso me 'dya kriyatām iti bhāskaraḥ / tañ cāha viśvakarmāṇaṃ saṃjñāyāḥ pitaraṃ dvija
“आज माझ्या तेजाचे क्षपण (छाटणी) व्हावे,” असे भास्कर म्हणाला; आणि हे ब्राह्मण, संज्ञेचा पिता विश्वकर्मा यास तो असे बोलला।
