Adhyaya 72 — The Reconciliation Rite, Sarasvati Sacrifice, and the Birth of Uttama Manu (Auttama Manvantara Prelude)
पत्नीउवाच मदर्थं तेन नागेन सुता शप्ता सखी मम ।
मूका भविष्यसीत्याह सा च मूकत्वमागताः ॥
patnyuvāca madarthaṃ tena nāgena sutā śaptā sakhī mama | mūkā bhaviṣyasīty āha sā ca mūkatvam āgatāḥ ||
पत्नी म्हणाली—“माझ्यामुळे, हे प्रिय, त्या सखी-कन्येला त्या नागाने शाप दिला—‘तू मुकी होशील’; आणि ती खरोखर मूकत्वाला प्राप्त झाली.”
