Adhyaya 72 — The Reconciliation Rite, Sarasvati Sacrifice, and the Birth of Uttama Manu (Auttama Manvantara Prelude)
patnyuvāca yadi prasādapravaṇaṃ narendra! mayi te manaḥ | tad etad abhiyāce tvāṃ tat kuruṣva mamārhaṇam ||
A boon is framed not as indulgence but as ‘arhaṇa’—a duty-like act; requests are ethically grounded when aimed at remedying harm.
Dharma/ācāra instruction embedded in narrative; not a genealogical or cosmic section.
The ‘mind inclined to grace’ hints that inner alignment (saṅkalpa) is the first ritual condition before outer rites can bear fruit.
