Adhyaya 71 — Madhu-Kaitabha
ऋषिरुवाच पाताले नागराजोऽस्ति प्रख्यातश्च कपोतकः ।
तेन दृष्टा त्वया त्यक्ता भ्रममाणा महावने ॥
ṛṣir uvāca pātāle nāgarājo 'sti prakhyātaś ca kapotakaḥ / tena dṛṣṭā tvayā tyaktā bhramamāṇā mahāvane
ऋषी म्हणाले—पाताळात ‘कपोतक’ नावाचा प्रसिद्ध नागराज आहे. त्याने तुझ्याकडून त्यागलेली ती युवती महान अरण्यात भटकताना पाहिली.
