अनेकदेशदर्शित्वेनातिश्रमसमान्वितः ।
त्वं नातिवृद्धो वयसा नातिवृत्तश्च यौवनात् ।
कथम् अल्पेन कालेन पृथिवीमटसि द्विज ॥
aneka-deśa-darśitvenātiśrama-samānvitaḥ |
tvaṁ nāti-vṛddho vayasā nāti-vṛttaś ca yauvanāt |
katham alpena kālena pṛthivīm aṭasi dvija ||
अनेक देश दाखवून तुम्ही जणू मोठ्या श्रमाने थकलेले दिसता; तरीही तुम्ही न फार वृद्ध आहात, न यौवन ओलांडलेले. हे ब्राह्मण, इतक्या थोड्या वेळात तुम्ही पृथ्वीवर कसे फिरता?
