पावकं पवमानञ्च शुचिं चापि जलाशिनम् ।
तेषान्तु सन्ततावन्ये चत्वारिंशच्च पञ्च च ॥
pāvakaṃ pavamānañ ca śuciṃ cāpi jalāśinam | teṣāṃ tu santatau anye catvāriṃśac ca pañca ca ||
पावक, पवमान आणि शुचि—यालाच ‘जलाशिन’ असेही म्हणतात. त्यांच्या वंशात आणखी इतरही झाले—संख्येने पंचेचाळीस।
