स दत्त्वा दुष्कृतं तस्मै पुण्यमादाय गच्छति ।
अप्यम्बुशाकदानेन यद्वाप्यश्नाति स स्वयम् ॥
sa dattvā duṣkṛtaṃ tasmai puṇyam ādāya gacchati / apy ambuśākadānena yadvāpy aśnāti sa svayam
तो अतिथी त्या (गृहस्थाला) आपले पाप देऊन आणि त्याचे पुण्य घेऊन निघून जातो—यजमानाने फक्त पाणी व भाजी दिली तरी, किंवा अतिथीने ते स्वतःच खाल्ले तरीही.
