सम्पूजयेद्यथाशक्ति गन्धपुष्पादिभिस्तथा ।
न मित्रमतिथिं कुर्यान्नैकग्रामनिवासिनम् ॥
sampūjayed yathāśakti gandhapuṣpādibhis tathā / na mitram atithiṃ kuryān naikagrāmanivāsinam
यथाशक्ती सुगंध, पुष्प इत्यादी देऊन त्याचा पूजन-सत्कार करावा. मित्राला ‘अतिथी’ मानू नये, तसेच त्याच गावात राहणाऱ्यालाही नाही.
