अहो स्नेहोऽस्य नृपतेर्ममोपऱ्यचलं मनः ।
येनायं पातनोऽरीणां विना शस्त्रेण पातितः ॥
aho sneho ’sya nṛpater mamopary acalaṃ manaḥ |
yenāyaṃ pātano ’rīṇāṃ vinā śastreṇa pātitaḥ ||
अहो—या राजाची माझ्यावर अशी आसक्ती आहे; त्याचे स्थिर मन माझ्यातच गुंतले आहे, ज्यामुळे हा ‘शत्रुपातक’ कोणतेही शस्त्र न लागता खाली पडला।
