जड उवाच प्रणिपत्य भुजङ्गेशं पुत्रः शत्रुजितस्ततः ।
प्रत्युवाच महात्मानं प्रेमलज्जासमन्वितः ॥
jaḍa uvāca praṇipatya bhujaṅgeśaṃ putraḥ śatrujitastataḥ / pratyuvāca mahātmānaṃ premalajjāsamanvitaḥ
जड म्हणाला—तेव्हा शत्रुजिताचा पुत्र नागाधिपतीला नमस्कार करून, स्नेह व विनयजन्य लज्जेने भरून त्या महात्म्यास उत्तर देऊ लागला।
