नाग उवाच यदि रत्नसुवर्णादि मत्तोऽवाप्तुं न ते मनः ।
यदन्यन्मनसः प्रीत्यै तद्ब्रूहि त्वं ददाम्यहम् ॥
nāga uvāca yadi ratna-suvarṇādi matto 'vāptuṃ na te manaḥ |
yad anyan manasaḥ prītyai tad brūhi tvaṃ dadāmy aham ||
नाग म्हणाला—जर तुझे मन माझ्याकडून रत्ने, सुवर्ण इत्यादी घेऊ इच्छित नसेल, तर तुझ्या हृदयाला आणखी काय प्रिय आहे ते सांग; ते मी देईन।
