अतः प्रयच्छ मे वीर हिरण्यार्थं स्वभूषणम् ।
यदेतत् कण्ठलग्नं ते रक्ष चेमं माश्रमम् ॥
ataḥ prayaccha me vīra hiraṇyārthaṃ svabhūṣaṇam | yad etat kaṇṭhalagnaṃ te rakṣa cemam āśramam
म्हणून, हे वीरा, सोन्यासाठी तुझ्या गळ्यात लटकणारे ते आभूषण मला दे; आणि माझ्या या आश्रमाचेही रक्षण कर।

Generosity is praised, but indiscriminate giving can empower adharma. The ideal donor considers the worthiness of the recipient and the wider consequences.
