Adhyaya 15 — Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell
दुकूले शार्ङ्गकः पापो हृते चैवांशुके शुकः ।
तथैवाजाविकं हृत्वा वस्त्रं क्षौमं च जायते ॥
dukūle śārṅgakaḥ pāpo hṛte caivāṃśuke śukaḥ | tathaivājāvikaṃ hṛtvā vastraṃ kṣaumaṃ ca jāyate
दुकूल (अतिसूक्ष्म वस्त्र) चोरल्यास पापी शार्ङ्गक नावाचा पक्षी होतो; अंशुक (हलके वस्त्र) चोरल्यास शुक-योनीत, म्हणजे तोता म्हणून जन्मतो. तसेच आजाविक (लोकरचे वस्त्र) चोरल्यास क्षौम (अळशी/सनाचे वस्त्र) याच्याशी संबंधित जन्म प्राप्त होतो.
