पदे पदे च पादो 'स्य शीर्यते जीर्यते पुनः ।
अहोरात्रेणोद्धरणं पादन्यासं च गच्छति ॥
pade pade ca pādo 'sya śīryate jīryate punaḥ | ahorātreṇoddharaṇaṃ pādanyāsaṃ ca gacchati ||
प्रत्येक पावलावर त्याचा पाय फुटतो आणि पुन्हा पुन्हा कुजून जातो. अख्ख्या दिवस-रात्रीत तो फक्त एकच पाऊल उचलून ठेवण्याइतकेच करू शकतो.
