Chapter 55
लोहितेन समायुक्तै: पांसुभि: पवनोद्धृतै: । बभूवुर्लोहितास्तत्र भृूशमादित्यरश्मय:,वायुद्वारा उड़ायी हुई रक्तसे सनी धूलके संसर्गसे आकाशमें सूर्यकी किरणें भी अधिक लाल हो गयीं
lohitenā samāyuktaiḥ pāṃsubhiḥ pavanoddhṛtaiḥ | babhūvur lohitās tatra bhṛśam ādityaraśmayaḥ ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—वाऱ्याने उडालेल्या रक्तमिश्रित धुळीच्या संसर्गाने तेथे सूर्यकिरणही अत्यंत लाल झाले. रणभूमी धूळ-धुराने भरून गेली होती; रक्तरंजित कणांमुळे सूर्यांशही रक्तवर्ण भासू लागले.
