स्कन्द उवाच सप्तमं मारुतस्कन्ध॑ पालयिष्याम्यहं प्रभो । यदन्यदपि मे कार्य देव तद् वद माचिरम्
Skanda uvāca: saptamaṁ māruta-skandhaṁ pālayiṣyāmy ahaṁ prabho | yad anyad api me kārya deva tad vada mā ciram ||
स्कंद म्हणाला—“प्रभो! ‘मारुतस्कंध’ नावाच्या सातव्या व्यूहाचे मी यथाविधी रक्षण करीन. देव! याखेरीज माझे आणखी काही कार्य असेल तर विलंब न करता सांगा.”
