स हत्वा दानवगणान् पूज्यमानो महर्षिभि: । एकाह्लैवाजयत् सर्व त्रैलोक्य वल्विनन्दन:,अग्निनन्दन स्कन्दने सब दानवोंको मारकर महर्षियोंसे पूजित हो एक ही दिनमें समूची त्रिलोकीको जीत लिया
sa hatvā dānavagaṇān pūjyamāno maharṣibhiḥ | ekāhenaivājayat sarvaṃ trailokyaṃ valvinandanaḥ ||
मार्कंडेय म्हणाले—दानवगणांचा संहार करून आणि महर्षींनी पूजिलेला, वल्वीचा पुत्र—अग्निनंदन स्कंद—याने एकाच दिवसात संपूर्ण त्रैलोक्य जिंकले.
