उच्च॑ पर्वतमारूढो भीमकर्मा वृकोदर: । गदापाणिर्नरिव्याप्रो ग्रसन्निव महीमिमाम्,“भयंकर कर्म करनेवाले नरश्रेष्ठ भीमसेन भी हाथमें गदा लिये ऊँचे पर्वतपर आरूढ़ हो इस पृथ्वीको ग्रसते हुए-से स्वप्नमें दिखायी दिये हैं
uccaiḥ parvatam ārūḍho bhīmakarmā vṛkodaraḥ | gadāpāṇir nara-vyāghro grasann iva mahīm imām ||
संजय म्हणाला—स्वप्नात मी भीमसेनाला पाहिले—भीषण कर्म करणारा वृकोदर, हातात गदा घेऊन, उंच पर्वतावर चढलेला, जणू ही पृथ्वी गिळणारच असा.
