श्रीमद्धिरात्मवद्धिस्तैर्बुद्धिमद्धिर्जितिन्द्रियै: | पाण्डवैर्विग्रहस्तात भ्रंशयेन्महत: सुखात्,“तात! श्रीमानू, मनस्वी, बुद्धिमान् तथा जितेन्द्रिय पाण्डवोंके साथ होनेवाला कलह तुम्हें महान् सुखसे वंचित कर देगा
śrīmaddhir ātmavaddhis tair buddhimaddhir jitendriyaiḥ | pāṇḍavair vigrahas tāta bhraṃśayen mahataḥ sukhāt ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—तात! श्रीमान, आत्मसंयमी, बुद्धिमान आणि जितेंद्रिय अशा पांडवांशी झालेला कलह तुला महान सुखापासून वंचित करील.
