Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

नाधर्मो विद्यते तत्र धर्म एव तु केवलम्‌ | इति कार्तयुगानेतान्‌ धर्मान्‌ विद्धि युधिष्ठिर,सत्ययुगमें अधर्मका सर्वथा अभाव हो जाता है। उस समय केवल धर्म-ही-धर्म रहता है। युधिष्ठिर! इन सबको सत्ययुगके धर्म समझो

nādharmo vidyate tatra dharma eva tu kevalam | iti kṛtayugān etān dharmān viddhi yudhiṣṭhira ||

भीष्म म्हणाले—त्या युगात अधर्माचा सर्वथा अभाव असतो; तेथे केवळ धर्मच असतो, दुसरे काही नाही. म्हणून, युधिष्ठिरा, हे सर्व कृत (सत्य) युगाचे धर्म-नियम समज.
