सहसा दृष्टवन्त: सम पुनरेव बृहस्पते । “बृहस्पते! थोड़ी ही देरमें हमारे सामने एक ही साथ हजारों सूर्योके समान प्रभा प्रकट हुई। हमारी दृष्टि सहसा उस ओर खिंच गयी
sahasā dṛṣṭavantaḥ sma punar eva bṛhaspate | “bṛhaspate! thoḍī hī der meṃ asmākaṃ samakṣaṃ ekaiva sāhasrāṇāṃ sūryāṇāṃ samā prabhā prakaṭābhavat | asmākaṃ dṛṣṭiḥ sahasā tasyaiva diśi ākṛṣṭābhavat”
भीष्म म्हणाले—हे बृहस्पते! फार थोड्याच वेळात आमच्या डोळ्यांसमोर सहसा एकच तेज प्रकट झाले—जणू एकाच वेळी हजार सूर्यांची प्रभा. आमची नजर क्षणातच त्या दिशेकडे ओढली गेली.
