Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
रामस्तं प्रतिजग्राह पृष्टवा गोत्रादि सर्वश: । उष्यतां स्वागतं चेति प्रीतिमांश्नाभवद् भूुशम्,परशुरामजीने गोत्र आदि सारी बातें पूछकर उसे शिष्यभावसे स्वीकार कर लिया और कहा--:वत्स! तुम यहाँ रहो। तुम्हारा स्वागत है।” ऐसा कहकर वे मुनि उसपर बहुत प्रसन्न हुए
rāmas taṃ pratijagrāha pṛṣṭvā gotrādi sarvaśaḥ | uṣyatāṃ svāgataṃ ceti prītimān abhavad bhūśam ||
राम (परशुराम) यांनी गोत्र इत्यादी सर्व गोष्टी सविस्तर विचारून त्याला शिष्यभावाने स्वीकारले आणि म्हणाले—“वत्सा, येथेच राहा; तुझे स्वागत आहे.” असे बोलून ते मुनि त्याच्यावर अत्यंत प्रसन्न झाले।
