अज्ञान–लोभयोः परस्परहेतुत्वम्
Mutual Causality of Ignorance and Greed
स्वाध्यायशील: स्थानेषु सर्वेषु समुपस्पृशेत् । त्यागधर्म: पवित्राणां संन्यासं मनुरब्रवीत्

स्वाध्यायनिष्ठ पुरुषाने सर्व तीर्थस्थानी जाऊन पवित्र स्नान करावे. मनूंनी सांगितले आहे की सर्वत्यागरूप संन्यास हा सर्व पवित्र धर्मांमध्ये श्रेष्ठ आहे.
