न त्वन्यामिह मार्जाराद्‌ गतिं पश्यामि साम्प्रतम्‌ । विषमस्थो हायं शत्रु: कृत्यं चास्य महन्मया

Transliteration

na tv anyām iha mārjārād gatiṁ paśyāmi sāmpratam | viṣamastho hāyaṁ śatruḥ kṛtyaṁ cāsya mahan mayā ||

Translation

भीष्म म्हणाले—या क्षणी या मांजराचा आधार घेण्यावाचून मला दुसरा मार्ग दिसत नाही. जरी हे माझे कट्टर शत्रू असले, तरी सध्या हे स्वतःच कठीण संकटात सापडले आहे; आणि माझ्यामुळे याचेही एक मोठे काम होऊ शकते.
