ततो<भ्ययान्महावीर्यों द्वीपी क्षजभोजन: । स्वार्थमत्यन्तसंतुष्ट: क्रूरकाल इवान्तक:
tato 'bhyayān mahāvīryo dvīpī kṣajabhojanaḥ | svārtham atyantasaṃtuṣṭaḥ krūrakāla ivāntakaḥ ||
त्यानंतर एके दिवशी महाबली, मांसभोजी चित्ता आपल्या लाभाने अत्यंत संतुष्ट होऊन त्या कुत्र्याला पकडण्यासाठी तिकडे धावून आला—जणू क्रूर काळ, जणू यमच.
