आज्ञापयामास तदा गोमायुर्वध्यतामिति । ऐसा कहकर वे क्षणभरमें ही सियारके घरसे उस मांसको उठा लाये। मांसके अपहरणकी बात जानकर और उन सेवकोंकी बातें सुनकर शेरने उस समय यह आज्ञा दे दी कि सियारको प्राणदण्ड दे दिया जाय
ājñāpayāmāsa tadā gomāyur vadhyatām iti |
तेव्हा सिंहाने आज्ञा केली—“कोल्ह्याला वधदंड द्या।” असे म्हणताच सेवकांनी क्षणातच कोल्ह्याच्या घरातून तो मांसाचा तुकडा उचलून आणला. मांसाच्या अपहरणाची वार्ता कळताच आणि सेवकांचे वृत्तांत ऐकताच सिंहाने त्याच वेळी हुकूम दिला—कोल्ह्याला प्राणदंड द्यावा।
