क्रुद्धेन भीमसेनेन पादेन मृदितं शिर: । “आज जब मेरी जाँघें टूट गयी हैं; ऐसी दशामें कुपित हुए भीमसेनने मेरे मस्तकको जो पैरसे ठुकराया है, इससे बढ़कर आश्वर्यकी बात और क्या हो सकती है?

Transliteration

kruddhena bhīmasenena pādena mṛditaṃ śiraḥ |

Translation

संजय म्हणाला—क्रुद्ध भीमसेनाने पायाने माझे मस्तक तुडविले. आज माझ्या जांघा मोडल्या आहेत; अशा अवस्थेत पडलेल्या मला रागाने भीमसेनाने पायाने मस्तक ठोकरले—याहून मोठे आश्चर्य ते काय?
