नष्टो न दृश्यते यत्र शमीगर्भे हुताशन: । लोकालोकविनाशे च प्रादुर्भूते तदानघ

Transliteration

naṣṭo na dṛśyate yatra śamīgarbhe hutāśanaḥ | lokālokavināśe ca prādurbhūte tadānagha ||

Translation

वैशम्पायन म्हणाले—जिथे शमीच्या गर्भात लपलेला हुताशन (अग्नी) नष्ट झाल्यासारखा दिसत नव्हता, आणि त्याच वेळी लोक-अलोक—प्रकाश व अंधाराची व्यवस्था—यांचा विनाश प्रकट झाला, हे अनघ!
