Transliteration

bāṇo nāmātha daiteyo baleḥ putro mahābalaḥ | krauñca-parvatam āśritya deva-saṅghān abādhata ||

Translation

वैशंपायन म्हणाले— बाण नावाचा एक दैत्य होता; तो महाबली बलीचा पराक्रमी पुत्र. क्रौंच पर्वताचा आश्रय घेऊन तो देवसमूहांना सतत त्रास देत असे.
