वैष्णव्यश्व तथा सौर्यों वाराह्म॒श्न महाबला: | रूपेणाप्सरसां तुल्या मनोहायों मनोरमा:
vaiṣṇavyaś ca tathā sauryāḥ vārāhāś ca mahābalāḥ | rūpeṇāpsarasāṃ tulyā manohāryo manoramāḥ ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—त्या महाबलशालिनी मातृकांमध्ये विष्णू, सूर्य आणि दिव्य वराहदेव यांच्या शक्तीही होत्या. त्या सर्व महान् बळाने युक्त; रूपाने अप्सरांसारख्या मनोहर व अत्यंत रमणीय होत्या.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The passage highlights that divine power (śakti) can be both formidable and beautiful—energies aligned with major deities are portrayed as awe-inspiring yet auspicious, suggesting that cosmic order is upheld through powers that can protect, bless, and also overwhelm hostile forces.
Vaiśampāyana continues a description of the Mātṛkā-like divine powers associated with various gods. Here he specifies those connected with Viṣṇu, Sūrya, and Varāha, emphasizing their great strength and their enchanting, Apsaras-like appearance.
