द्विषतो भीमसेनस्य वशमेष्यथ विद्रुता: । “जितने क्षत्रिय यहाँ आये हैं वे सब सुनें--“तुमलोग भागनेपर अपने शत्रु भीमसेनके अधीन हो जाओगे

Transliteration

dviṣato bhīmasenasya vaśam eṣyatha vidrutāḥ |

Translation

संजय म्हणाला— जर तुम्ही भयाने पळाल, तर शत्रू भीमसेनाच्या अधीन जाल. ही रणातील कठोर सूचना आहे—भ्याड पलायन न स्वातंत्र्य वाचवते, न मान; उलट शत्रूलाच अधिकार देते.
