लोकानावृत्य यशसा तेजसा वृत्तसम्पदा । स्वशरीरेण सम्प्राप्तं नान््यं शुश्रुम पाण्डवात्
lokān āvṛtya yaśasā tejasā vṛttasampadā | svaśarīreṇa samprāptaṃ nānyaṃ śuśruma pāṇḍavāt ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—यश, तेज आणि सद्वर्तनरूपी संपत्तीने सर्व लोक व्यापून पांडवाने आपल्या देहासहच नियत अंत प्राप्त केला; त्याच्याविषयी याहून भिन्न असा दुसरा परिणाम आम्ही ऐकलेला नाही।
