ते वै निपेतुस्तपनीयपुड्खा द्विधा त्रिधा भीमशरैर्निकृत्ता: । ततो राजन् नागरथाश्चयूनां भीमाहतानां वरराजमध्ये
te vai nipetustapanīyapuḍkhā dvidhā tridhā bhīmaśarair nikṛttāḥ | tato rājan nāgarathāś ca yūnāṃ bhīmahātānāṃ vararājamadhye ||
संजय म्हणाला—ते सुवर्णपंखी बाण भीमाच्या बाणांनी दोन-दोन, तीन-तीन तुकडे होऊन भूमीवर पडले. मग, हे राजन्, राजश्रेष्ठांच्या मध्यभागीच भीमाने आहत केलेले रथ व योद्धेही कोसळून पडले.
