स तन्न ममृषे द्रोण: पाञ्चाल्येनार्दितो मृधे । ततस्तस्य विनाशाय सत्वरं व्यसृजच्छरान्‌

Transliteration

sa tan na mamṛṣe droṇaḥ pāñcālyenārdito mṛdhe | tatas tasya vināśāya satvaraṁ vyasṛjac charān |

Translation

रणांगणात पांचालराजपुत्र सत्यजिताने छळल्यामुळे द्रोणाचार्य ते सहन करू शकले नाहीत; म्हणून त्याच्या विनाशासाठी त्यांनी त्वरित बाणांचा वर्षाव केला.
