तया ह्युत्पादित: पुण्य: स हद: सागरोपम: । तां धारयामास तदा दुर्धरां पर्वतैरपि
tayā hy utpāditaḥ puṇyaḥ sa hradaḥ sāgaropamaḥ | tāṃ dhārayāmāsa tadā durdharāṃ parvatair api ||
संजय म्हणाला—तिच्यामुळेच समुद्रासारखा विशाल असा पुण्य ह्रद उत्पन्न झाला. तेव्हा त्याने त्या दुर्धर वेगाला धारण करून रोखले—जो वेग पर्वतांनाही धारण करणे कठीण आहे.
