गौतम उवाच त्वत्प्रीतियुक्तेन मया गुरुशुश्रूषया तव । व्यतिक्रामन्महाकालो नावबुद्धो द्विजर्षभ
Gautama uvāca: tvat-prīti-yuktena mayā guru-śuśrūṣayā tava | vyatikrāman mahā-kālo nāvabuddho dvijarṣabha ||
गौतम म्हणाला— हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! तुझ्या गुरुशुश्रूषेमुळे माझ्या मनात तुझ्याविषयी मोठे स्नेह उत्पन्न झाले; म्हणून इतका महान काळ निघून गेला, तरी मला त्याचे भानच राहिले नाही.
