एवमेवाप्यसंयुक्त: पुरुष: स्यान्न संशय: । जैसे कमलके पत्तेपर पड़ी हुई जलकी चंचल बूँद उसे भिगो नहीं पाती
evam evāpy asaṁyuktaḥ puruṣaḥ syān na saṁśayaḥ |
वायुदेव म्हणाले—अशाच प्रकारे पुरुष असंग राहू शकतो; यात संशय नाही. जसे कमळाच्या पानावर पडलेला पाण्याचा चंचल थेंब त्याला भिजवू शकत नाही, तसेच ज्ञानी पुरुष सर्व गुणांमध्ये वावरूनही त्यांच्यामुळे लिप्त होत नाही. म्हणून क्षेत्रज्ञ पुरुष खरोखरच असंग आहे—यात शंका नाही.
