अम्बरीषगाथा—गुणत्रयविभागः तथा लोभनिग्रहः
Ambarīṣa’s Gāthā: The Guṇas and the Restraint of Greed
तस्मादेत॑ सम्यगवेक्ष्य लोभ॑ निगृहा धृत्या55त्मनि राज्यमिच्छेत् । एतदू राज्यं नान्यदस्तीह राज्य- मात्मैव राजा विदितो यथावत्
tasmād etat samyag avekṣya lobhaṁ nigṛhya dhṛtyā ātmani rājyam icchet | etad eva rājyam nānyad astīha rājyam ātmā eva rājā vidito yathāvat ||
म्हणून लोभाचे स्वरूप नीट तपासून, धैर्याने त्याला आवर घालून, आत्म्यातील राज्य—आत्मस्वराज्य—मिळविण्याची इच्छा करावी. हेच खरे राज्य; येथे दुसरे कोणतेही राज्य नाही. आत्म्याचे यथार्थ ज्ञान झाल्यावर आत्माच राजा म्हणून ओळखला जातो.
