अभिजाने च तदहं यदर्थ मामुपागत: । अचिरात् तु गमिष्यामि तेनाहं त्वामचूचुदम्
abhijāne ca tad ahaṃ yadartha mām upāgataḥ | acirāt tu gamiṣyāmi tenāhaṃ tvām acūcudam |
तू ज्या हेतूने माझ्याकडे आला आहेस, तो मला ज्ञात आहे. मी लवकरच येथून निघून जाईन; म्हणूनच मी तुला स्वतः बोलण्यास—निःसंकोच प्रश्न विचारण्यास—प्रेरित केले आहे.
सिद्ध उवाच
The verse emphasizes timely inquiry and purposeful dialogue: a wise teacher, aware of the seeker’s intent and the shortness of time, urges the seeker to ask directly so that instruction can be given without delay.
A Siddha addresses a visitor who has approached with a specific aim. Knowing he will soon depart, the Siddha encourages the visitor to speak up and pose the intended question, setting the stage for instruction.
