Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नानाविधैश्व विहगैर्जलप्रकरसेविभि: । एकद्वारामनादेयां सूपतीर्थामकर्दमाम्
nānāvidhaiś ca vihagair jalaprakara-sevibhiḥ | ekadvārām anādeyāṃ sūpatīrthām akardamām ||
तेथे जलावर उपजीविका करणारे नानाविध पक्षी नानातऱ्हेचा कलरव करीत त्यातील विपुल जल पित होते। त्याला प्रवेशासाठी एकच द्वार होते; तेथून काहीही घेणे निषिद्ध होते। स्नानासाठी उत्तम व सुबक पायऱ्या होत्या, आणि ते काई-चिखलरहित होते।
